in Foresta, a small private subdivision inside of Yosemite, these
homes arehis lodging is surrounded by Yosemite National Park. Walk just 10 feet
from the homes and you are inside of Yosemite National Park. Once
you have paid the $20 entrance fee you won't be bothered again by
having to wait in the entrance station lines. You are free to roam
inside this treasure of a National Park.
At 4,200' in elevation and high
on a ridge, these rental homes offer relief from the hot summer temperatures
found at other accommodations. Temperatures rarely go above the mid
80's while temps in the high 90's are the norm for areas such as Oakhurst,
Mariposa and El Portal. Gentle summer breezes blow across the ridges
in Foresta every morning and night.
